Get Colored Contacts Without Prescription

Everyone thinks about changing their eye color at some point in time and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. There is nothing wrong with enhancing your appearance to look more professional, sexy, different, or even scary. In fact, wearing colored contacts can improve the way you feel about yourself. You will find often that people are unhappy with something about themselves and often yearn for a way to improve it. Colored contacts can help improve your self image even if your eye color is not what bothers you. At least it can take your mind off other things that you feel are wrong with you.

After selecting the right color for your skin, and getting compliments that you’ve never had before, you’ll forget all about those other things that you don’t like about yourself. We all need that sometimes, right? Getting non prescription colored contacts is as easy as taking candy from a baby, but may not be the best route to go. Most people think that getting a pair of non prescription lenses will save them time and money but really this is not true.

Non prescription lenses that you buy from a local outlet shop or online are not always guaranteed to be of good quality and once you put them in your eyes, there is no turning back. Once you’re eyes are messed up from obtaining your lenses this way, you are going to spend more money trying to get them back in the condition they were in. People who go out and get lenses without a prescription often obtain eye problems or make their current eye problems much worse. Is this what you want for yourself?

I would never try and tell you what to do but I will inform you that getting a prescription from your doctor for colored lenses is the best way to ensure that you will get the best quality and the best brands for your eyes. Your eye doctor is not just your eye doctor, but someone who will help you make the best decisions for your eyes. In saying this, there is nothing wrong with asking for suggestions and whether or not he/she has any additional information that would be useful to you when you make your selection.

Some will say that getting contact lenses without a prescription is cheaper, but again they are wrong. More than likely, they just didn’t take the time to look for them. By going online, you can find non prescription lenses and prescription lenses, so if they missed this part, then they probably wanted too. Don’t let anyone trick you into thinking that you don’t need a prescription to get good quality colored lenses. Just think of the damage you could do by not following this advice.

Could you imagine life without eyesight? You would never be able to see all of the beautiful things god has created. What do I know, right? Well, don’t take my word for it. Contact your eye doctor today and see if he/she doesn’t tell you the same thing I just said.

How to Get Non Prescription Colored Contacts

To get them, you need to do a few things and what steps you need to take will depend on where you live because of some applicable laws. If you live in places like the USA, Canada or the UK where there are laws stating that contact lenses, of any kind, are considered to be medical devices (and this includes cosmetic colored contact lenses or non corrective contacts that do not provide any vision correction), then you will need to get a prescription from a doctor in order to obtain colored contact lenses. Sorry, but that’s the law (read on).

There are, however, some retailers in the USA that seem to be going up against this law and are selling colored contacts to people and are not asking for a prescription. I’ve ordered some myself and they came in the mail in about a week or so. A quick search on the web will yield some results or else look for links to get them.

If you live outside of an area that has these kinds of laws, then you should have no problem ordering them but you should be careful. The reason why these laws were enacted were because people were getting them without a prescription and the lenses were cheap and people’s eyes were getting damaged – pretty severely. The government felt that it had to step in and regulate the contact lens industry because of this. So make sure you do not get the cheap colored contacts that are out there. Only go with name brand ones so that they are safe for your eyes.
